The Moline CDC fosters affordable living, safe housing, and thriving neighborhoods for Moline residents.
Originally focused on supporting Moline’s low-to-moderate-income neighborhoods, our mission has expanded to serve all residents of Moline. We improve housing opportunities, develop community assets, and encourage pride among residents.
The Abandoned Home Program – one of our most impactful – turns abandoned properties into livable homes, stabilizes neighborhoods, increases home ownership, and returns homes to the tax rolls.
We partner with the City of Moline, as well as neighborhood associations and other non-profits, to undertake projects that enhance the quality of life in our city. Most recently, we have joined forces with Renew Moline (the non-profit economic development organization devoted to growing and revitalizing the city of Moline) to enhance our mutual capacity and expand our impact.
The Moline CDC was founded in 2008 as a 501(c)3 charitable organization.
