Handy at Home: Tame your energy bill

  • Butterworth Center & Deere-Wiman House, Education Center 817 11th Avenue Moline, IL, 61265 United States (map)

Turning off lights can save money on your energy bill, but there are so many small (and large) changes you can make to save even more. Plus, many programs exist to help you pay for these energy-saving fixes. Save money and time by making these changes yourself.

Learning outcomes:

  1. Identify the specific opportunities for energy efficiency in your home.

  2. Learn to install or implement energy-saving changes.

  3. Understand what a homeowner can reasonably accomplish and when it is time to call a professional.

We suggest a donation of $25 to help us offer this workshop. All residents are welcome regardless of ability to donate. If you are having trouble registering or it says it is full, please call our office at 309-762-9190

Prior registration required.
