Blight Reduction Program

Through a grant from the State of Illinois, the Moline CDC took over and demolished eight homes which were beyond repair. The vacant lots were then sold to new owners (without the burden of an uninhabitable house) or transferred to partner organizations such as Habitat for Humanity of the Quad Cities.
