Service Projects

Hardest Hit
The Moline CDC has also participated in the Hardest Hit Fund that helps homeowners who have experienced a reduction in income due to involuntary unemployment or under employment continue to make mortgage payments.

As of March 31, 2014, the Moline CDC funded 124 applications from within its catchment area. This translates into 124 mortgages saved from default and $1,272,327 disbursed to those applicants. All the monies for this program have been depleted, the program is now closed.

Riverside Park

The Moline Community Development Corporation in partnership with Quad City Children's Therapy Center created the first all-inclusive playground on the Illinois side of the Quad Cities. A Safety Theme Playground that children and families with or without disabilities will use for generations to come!

The park features a fire truck, police car, and an ambulance-themed play structure as well as child-appropriate signs that teach basic health and safety!
